The big home battery – FENECON Home 20 with 36.4 kWh
A heat pump, two electric cars, maybe a business run from home: when your power demand outgrows typical home batteries, the FENECON Home 20 comes into its own. Its 20 kW hybrid inverter accepts up to 30 kWp of solar power, and in this configuration the modular LiFePO4 tower provides 36.4 kWh of usable capacity (13 modules of 2.8 kWh each) – expandable up to 168 kWh.
Backup power on a commercial scale
In a power cut, the system keeps supplying your building on all three phases with up to 6,666 VA of unbalanced load per phase – black-start capable and with solar recharging, so even outages lasting several days can be bridged.
Up to 30 kWp of PV on 2 MPP trackers
Each MPP tracker offers two MC4 inputs and handles up to 30 A – ideal for large roofs with multiple orientations (MPPT range 200–850 V, max. efficiency 98.0%). The adaptive fan keeps the inverter within its optimum temperature range, even at full load.
FEMS: open energy management as standard
The integrated FENECON energy management system (OpenEMS Ready Gold) includes the self-consumption optimisation and grid-friendly charging apps; updates are unlimited and free of charge. Optional FEMS apps add dynamic electricity tariffs or control of a wallbox, heat pump or immersion heater – dimmability in accordance with §14a EnWG (German Energy Industry Act) is standard.
Modular up to 168 kWh
The tower expands in 2.8 kWh steps up to 15 modules, and up to four towers can operate in parallel. FENECON provides a 10-year product guarantee and a capacity guarantee of 12 years or 6,000 cycles – developed and supported from Bavaria, Germany.

How big is the system in this configuration?
The tower has a footprint of 506 × 401 mm and is approx. 2,264 mm tall; the inverter (520 × 220 × 660 mm) is mounted separately. Total weight: approx. 475 kg.
Can I expand later?
Yes – modules are simply added via plug & play, up to 15 per tower and 4 towers per system (168 kWh).
