A battery storage system is a decision for decades – and for a system that grows with you. The FENECON Home 10 combines a 10 kW hybrid inverter with a modular LiFePO4 battery tower (28.0 kWh usable, 10 modules) and the award-winning FEMS energy management system. A large configuration for a high level of self-sufficiency – ideal with a heat pump and an electric car.

Backup power with black start and solar recharging

If the grid fails, the Home 10 keeps your home supplied on all three phases – with up to 3,333 VA unbalanced load per phase. Thanks to its black-start capability, the system restarts even when the grid is down, and the directly connected PV system keeps recharging the battery in backup mode. This lets your household ride out longer outages too. For higher backup loads, the Home 10 can be extended with the optional FENECON AVU (automatic load transfer switch).

PV connection for up to three roof orientations

The integrated hybrid inverter accepts up to 15 kWp of solar power via 3 MPP trackers (MPPT range 150–850 V) – with up to 98.2% efficiency.

FEMS: open energy management

The OpenEMS-based FENECON energy management system (open source, “OpenEMS Ready Gold”) is integrated as standard – including the apps for self-consumption optimisation and grid-friendly charging. AI-based forecasting uses weather data, your consumption profile and tariffs to create a daily energy schedule; updates are unlimited and free of charge. Optional FEMS apps add dynamic electricity tariffs and control of wallboxes, heat pumps or immersion heaters – and the system is already dimmable in accordance with §14a EnWG (German Energy Industry Act) straight from the factory.

Grows with you instead of locking you in

The battery tower grows in 2.8 kWh steps up to 14 modules – and with up to four parallel towers to a maximum of 156.8 kWh. FENECON backs the cobalt-free LiFePO4 cells with a capacity guarantee of 12 years or 6,000 cycles, and the system comes with a 10-year product guarantee.

Can I expand the capacity later?

Yes – simply plug additional 2.8 kWh modules into the tower (plug & play), up to 14 modules per tower and 4 towers per system.

Where can the system be installed?

Thanks to IP55 and an operating range of -20 °C to +50 °C, it can go in a basement, a garage or a sheltered outdoor area; the battery works best at +15 to +30 °C.

How tall is the tower in this configuration?

With 10 modules the tower is approx. 1,835 mm tall (footprint 506 × 401 mm); the inverter (496 × 221 × 460 mm) is wall-mounted separately. The total weight is approx. 362 kg.
