Backup power for the PLENTICORE G3 – the enwitec grid changeover box for Kostal

The KOSTAL PLENTICORE G3 is backup-capable – but only the right changeover device turns this into a safe home power supply during a power cut. enwitec supplies the grid changeover box officially approved and listed by KOSTAL for all PLENTICORE G3 variants: in the event of a power cut it automatically disconnects the system from the public grid and keeps supplying your loads from PV and battery.

Ready to connect and flexibly configurable

The box comes pre-assembled and pre-tested – no time-consuming DIY build and no need to take on the warranty yourself. KOSTAL energy meters (KSEM, KEM-C or KEM-P) can optionally be integrated directly; on request, the PLENTICORE G3 itself can also be connected in the box, with seven DIN module spaces for circuit breakers and RCDs to be supplied on site.

Layperson-operable and well thought out

Installed circuit breakers are designed for operation by laypersons; if required, the consumer circuits can be split into loads with and without backup support – so the backup capacity is reserved for your important appliances.

Which inverters is the box compatible with?

With all KOSTAL PLENTICORE G3 variants – the enwitec solution is officially approved and listed by KOSTAL. Changeover in the event of a power cut is automatic, and the maximum thermal throughput is 20 kW.

Can the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter be installed?

Yes, KSEM, KEM-C and KEM-P can optionally be integrated – KOSTAL lists compatible meters in its download area.

Who installs the box?

Only trained, qualified electricians in accordance with the enwitec installation instructions; acceptance of the changeover device must be clarified with the grid operator.
