Backup power for your SMA system – enwitec changeover box for Sunny Boy Storage + single-phase PV inverters

With the right changeover device, the SMA Sunny Boy Storage system becomes a genuine backup power system. The three-phase enwitec changeover box is the solution officially listed by SMA in its planning guide: in the event of a power cut, it safely disconnects the PV system and consumer distribution board from the public grid and keeps supplying your home from battery and sun.

Phase coupling integrated

The built-in phase coupling means that, in backup mode, the single-phase battery inverter supplies all three phases of your home – with a maximum thermal throughput of 20 kW.

For Sunny Boy Storage and single-phase PV inverters

Designed for an SMA Sunny Boy Storage 3.7/5.0/6.0 in combination with single-phase SMA PV inverters (e.g. Sunny Boy 3.0–5.0). Optionally, the SMA Energy Meter EM-20 or Sunny Home Manager 2.0 can be integrated directly into the box.

Ready to connect instead of a DIY build

Pre-assembled, pre-tested, automatic changeover: installers no longer need to build the changeover device themselves at great cost and effort, nor take on the warranty for it.
