Electricity demand grows faster than expected: an electric car, a heat pump, working from home. Instead of replacing your battery storage, you simply expand it – the BYD HVB battery module adds 2.97 kWh of usable capacity to your system and, thanks to the patented plug-in system, stacks onto your existing tower without any internal wiring.

Modular all the way to the maximum

An HVB tower works with 2 to 10 modules (5.9 to 29.6 kWh) at a maximum height of 1.33 m. Your battery storage grows in 2.97 kWh steps exactly in line with your needs – up to 10 modules per tower and a maximum total capacity of 89.07 kWh by connecting up to three towers in parallel.

Cobalt-free LFP cells from BYD

BYD develops and manufactures its own lithium iron phosphate cells – the same technology used in millions of electric vehicles. That means safety, thermal stability and a long service life.

Which systems is the module compatible with?

The Blade module is designed exclusively for the Battery-Box HVB with the new HV-BCU. Commissioning via the BYD Energy App (firmware V1.28.0 or later).

How much does a module weigh?

A module weighs just 27.3 kg – thanks to its integrated handles it can be installed by one person, and it is delivered individually, so even expanding large towers stays easy to handle.
